MEGAROB M12 meeting in Teamnet facilities, Bucharest

The MEGAROB project has completed its first year of life, and the M12 technical meeeting was carried out in the facilities of the romanian partner, Teamnet.
A new partner (ESPACE 2001) from Luxembourg has been included, replacing a leaving partner (CML). We wish them a fruitful collaboration among the consortium!

We can say that the main results of the project at this point can be summarized as:

  • The WP2 has already done the mechanical tests in order to check the operational forces that the robot of both demonstrators are going to bear.
  • The WP3 has the complete structure of the demonstrator completely designed and is being simulated by MEF and validated on WP2.
  • On the WP4, together with the high level software developments, the advanced developments on the first demonstrator are successfully achieved

Finally, on the second day the consortium had an Exploitation Seminar, where the exploitation results and other relevant issues were tackled and discussed.

The next meeting will be held in May in CSEM facilities in Alpnach, Switzerland, together with the M18 Review meeting, and with the presence not only of the PTA, as the other, but also with the Project Officer, John Cleuren.
